nutrimetics Face wash

I always come across with many problems because of my oily face, especially during hot weather or under the scorching sunlight. If you're one of my kind, you know what I mean. I've tried out many products for oily skin but they always turned out to be helpful just for a short period of time. It is giving me a hard time when I gotta find a cleanser which suits me the most.

Recently, I tried out nutrimetics products, the Apricot foaming cleanser & the exfoliating gel, treating my skin to apricot goodness.

Holla, good day and happy morning everyone!

I'm so into photography, to me, capturing good moments is just like keeping the precious moment by not letting it slip away. 

What is important in taking photo is the brightness to bring out the bright tone of the photo. Most of the time, I'm always having difficulties in editing photos.

Apps that I use the most to edit my photos is VSCO.

I strongly recommend it as it comes with many different effects.

One thing I love about hoodies is that it has pocket in front that can keep me warm.

Me is the left one, this will be one of my fav outfit in my closet, zebra print, black & white, it's just what I like. Well, weather here in Malaysia not really allow us to wear this kind of outfit, you'll feel like something is burning inside you, too Hot!

Dog Adoption, the Biggie Project!

It's the Chinese New Year, time to go back to my hometown. And every time going back, I'll definitely pay a visit to this place, I named it the Dog Farm haha..

My aunt own this land and she started to adopt those stray dogs from the roadside.

Some of them may be abandoned by their owner or got hurt because of an accident. What I saw was a pitiful scene, having no shelter or love & care, some even starved for days.

My caring aunt built houses for them using all those recycled steel.

Till now, there are up to 50 dogs and I think there are more to come.

According to her, she spends up to thousands just for food like chicken and rice, not including water bill. She baths for them once a week.

My sister bursted into tears when she saw this pitiful dog. It can't walk with its back legs for the rest of its life after an accident, just manage to crawl for a short distance. Its wound is very serious, the pain is too great for it. Creatures innocent like them don't deserve this, they're suppose to live in a happy and comfy zone.

Here, looking cute and handsome right? Wondering why its owner will abandoned it??
It didn't walk much as it can't see, it's blind. Actually, we're advised not to breed them with different kinds, this may cause genetic problems.

I giggled when I saw this dog. It is cute and it can just play with its bowl non-stop for a long time.

The dogs are too many for my aunt to handle alone, she forced to employ another worker to help her out with the washing and feeding.

I admire my aunt so much, she has the great love that willing to sacrifice for the needies. Imagine that, she gotta take good care of them everyday after her work. It is definitely not an easy task, great love and patience is needed for this voluntary work.

If you own any pet at home, do love them with all your heart, be by their side no matter what happen. And also, you gotta know that they need your attention, no one loves to be lonely, so do you right?

If you intend to rear a pet, don't hesitate to adopt instead of buying one from the pet shop. Dog adoptions are available in many places like SPCA & some of the associations, you can search for them in FB.

Mini Sweet Bites afternoon

I'm not really a sweet tooth but sweet stuff does make people. 

Compare to cakes, I prefer mini muffins as it is small and easy to put into the mouth, plus bite-sized food is always that adorable. 

I flipped over a recipe book and finally chose this:

after-dinner coffee liqueur muffins

ingredients

makes 12

oil or melted butter, for greasing

2 tbsp instant coffee granules

2 tbsp boiling water

280 g/10 oz plain flour

1 tbsp baking powder

pinch of salt

115 g/4 oz soft light brown sugar

2 eggs

100 ml/3.5fl oz milk

85 g/3 oz butter, melted & cooled

6 tbsp coffee liqueur

40 g/1.5 oz demerara sugar

method

• Preheat oven to 200 degree Celsius. Grease a 12-hole muffin tin or line with 12 paper muffin cases. Put the coffee granules and boiling water in a cup and stir till dissolved. Leave to cool.  

• Meanwhile, soft to gather the flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl. Stir in the brown sugar. 

• Lightly beat the eggs in a large bowl then beat in the milk, butter, dissolved coffee and liqueur. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and pour in the beaten liquid ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; do not over mix.

• Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin tin or paper cases. Sprinkle the demerara sugar over the tops of the muffin. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 mins until well risen, golden brown and firm to the touch. 

• Leave the muffins in the tin for 5 mins them serve warm or transfer to a wire rack and leave to cool. 

I replaced demarara sugar with almonds.
If you plan to use almonds to sprinkle on top, do heat the almonds in the oven for a few minutes until slightly golden brown in order to obtain a crispy bite.
Actually, I tried using chocolate emulco and Nescafe gold to replace the coffee liqueur. This is why my muffins turned out to be a dark chocolate colour.
I also suggest you guys to cut down the amount of sugar if you want to use this recipe, same goes to the other recipes.

Some recipes will give you a specific time in baking small cakes. Meanwhile, you are advised to stay close with your muffins and check for the hardness from time to time. 
Make sure that they're not overheat.

Try using fresh cream or colourful chips to embellish the appearance of your muffins. Get some of the deco from the confectionery cake shop, they're not pricy. Serve your muffins handsomely and trust me you'll be happy to play with the decorations.

This is my second attempt. I tried using chocolate instead of chocolate emulco for a better taste. This turned out to be softer. 
P/S: don't be greedy putting more almonds on top, the mixture may not be able to bear the weight of the almond on top.

Ninetology R1 xxx Magnific Redefined

Hereby, I want to write a review about the phone which I was using for about a couple of weeks.

I bought it for about MYR700. For you info, Ninetology is from Malaysia.

I bought it because I was urgently looking for a phone.

 By that time, this brand is kinda popular and it consider cheap, 

so I got one home for temporary usage.

Hence, after months, the battery turned out to be weak.

It only can last for a day even if I turned off the wifi and data usage.

For several times, I charged it till 100% and just left it on the table in the morning, 

and it will just automatically power off at night because of low battery. 

What!? I didn't even touched it for the whole day.

Since I know that the battery is not sustainable, I used it once in a while just to listen to musics using the app 'KuWo'  ( 酷我 ). 

Surprisingly, I manage to play songs for more than 6 hours. How weird lol..

Honestly I was regret for choosing this brand and I don't really recommend it as there were many cheap phones out there other than this, try choosing other brands like Samsung, Sony or Nokia.

Cameron Highlands 2-day Trip

Just backed from Cameron for a two days trip. This trip is indeed a brothers-and sisters-bonding moment. I was joining this trip with my church members and really had a fun time in the high altitude. Cameron is best known for its nice weather, cooling yet refreshing, not much pollution here and this proved that it's a thumbs-up travelling spot in Malaysia. 

Firstly, I would like to introduce our accommodation at Che Foo Methodist Church.

Had our Sabbath service upon arriving the hall.

Spacious hall that suitable for any indoor activities.

Our dormitory...

It's just a small room that can only fit in six people with three double-decker  beds.
Blankets and Pillows are provided.

Weather like this need not any fans during day or night.
We just gotta open up the windows and let the wind in.
I forgot to mark down the temperature at night when I was sleeping but it was just obviously cold.
I was shivering in cold early in the morning when I woke up brushing my teeth with cold water. OMG!!

Canteen with tables and chairs.
Rules and regulations are written to ensure the cleanliness of the canteen.
We stacked up the chairs after using it.

Western breakfast. Guess what? We couldn't stop eating the eggs and wanted more.

Honestly, this black and white playground caught my attention at the first sight.
This is my very first time seeing this type of trendy yet classy playground. I couldn't control my leg on playing with it.

There's a river at the back of the hall. Crystal clear water flowing down from high.
You can never find this is a city.

The Guest House. I think this is the nicest type of accommodation compare to chalets and the hotel style.
I peeked inside and discovered that its design is based on english style.
Somehow, we can't afford to rent it even for a day, too pricy.

This is the top view from the playground. Can't imagine that what will happen if I fall from here.

There are lots of nice places to visit but I couldn't manage to capture all the moments and pictures of the places as I was too happy till I forgot that I need those pictures in my blog.

We stopped by Bee Farm, I couldn't see many bees there but the RM1 honey stick is worth a try. It comes with 4 flavours, sweet, spicy, bitter and sour. Haha sounds creative, anyway I tried the sour one, like it. I'll name a few farm which you guys should pay a visit, such as Rose Farm and Cactus Farm, where you can buy your own cactus home. As for Lavender Farm, I think that lavenders from other countries is much more better.

BOH TEA PLANTATION

The Boh Tea Plantation is located around the Bee Farm but you need to take a mini bus up to the hill.
This takes up around 15 minutes to reach the top. You gotta get yourself ready as all of them are bone-shaker bus.
The driving skills of the bus drivers is undeniably good and incredible. The road always experiences traffic jam as there're cars coming up and going down. The tyres of the bus are always a few inches away from the cliff.
Yeah, it's kinda freaking out but it's damn exciting.

Walking in the rain. You'll find that most of the stalls were selling the same stuff.
So if you're  about to buy something, be sure to walk around to search for the cheapest one.
Some are super cheap, I found that a stall was selling at a tray of strawberries for just RM10!!

There goes my two days trip, it's indeed a good moment to remember. What a remarkable day!
