Food Hunting #2 @Subang Jaya

It's the 52th week of the year, which is the last week, happy that my mum came down here to join me and my sister on this vacation. Ermmm.. not really a vaca but a mini local trip mainly hunting down for food or shopping, as you know there're many shopping complexes here. And honestly, almost all ladies are shopaholic, you can't deny it.
Okay, let's go straight to the point. I found out that Subang is a nice eating place, from cafes to the eatery and to the mamak stores. You're not going to face with any problems when you're craving for supper at night. Looking for food, this is one of the best place to be.

But before I'm going further about food, I'm going to give some comments about the hotel we put up during these few days. The MAX Hotel.

This is the outer view of the hotel. The pharmacy is just right next beside the hotel.
Getting some medical stuff for yourself? You just need to walk a few steps down here...

This is the ground floor and the reception counter.

There is currently no lift here, taking steps up to the 1st floor is needed.
We were lucky enough to get a room on the 1st floor,  or we will need to carry our big luggage
all the way up to the top.

This is the view of the whole floor.
Slow down your voice and don't stab your feet at night as the wall is not soundproof.
So embarrass to say, we were complained by the neighbours
as we accidentally laughed too loud when we were chit-chatting with each other.

The washroom is just behind the grey curtains. The room is just that large.
It's comfy but not spacious.

There are rooms which are link to each other and facilities like TV is available.

We chose this hotel as it is within our budget, you can check from www.booking.com for more. It's just a normal yet simple boutique hotel, don't expect for more. Here is good enough for a night stay and what I love the most is their super fast wifi connection, each floor has a router, you don't need to wait for videos or photos to buffer.

Near the MAX Hotel, there are actually quite a lot of food to eat, there're just a stone's throw away from here...

BURGER FACTORY

Upstairs seats of Burger Factory

Kid's meal chicken burger, mini beef burgers in set & a cuppa hot tea.

Beef in a row!!
I'm so into beef these days, this set is freaking cute and special, every single of the mini burgers is different.
One of it with the beef paste is just totally yummilicious. Love it to the moon and back ❤︎❤︎❤︎
If you're a beef lover, you gonna try it out.

HONG YA

Its set meal is cheap and reasonable. Set comes with drinks and only charge RM2 for fries or potato wedges.
The picture shown above is the cheapest burger set of all: Ham & Egg.
The burger bread is soft and there's some sesame on top, unlike any other normal bread.

Look at the menu, with just RM10 you're able to fix your crave.
If you're first time trying this, I recommend you guys to try out the burger instead of sandwich.

Kinda regret that I didn't take a selfie with Uncle Hong Ya. Such a cute statue~

ALCHEMIST

This cafe opens till late night, smoking area is available, most of the people spend their nightlife here. This may be one of the cheapest cafes that I've ever been. To me, it's not merely a cafe, it's also an eatery and a bar, a place to fill your tummy to the fullest.

Skateboard as wall cabinet, how creative...
Oh ya, I've added penny board to my very own bucket list, waiting for myself to give it a tick.

Aglio-Olio which just costs about RM10 and I think that it's garlic enough for me.
Plus, the portion is big enough for a full meal.

This is what creative means, a remarkable cup holder. Don't worry, it's safe to hold.

A PIE THING

Nice shot from this angle, wish I was the one sitting there.
Getting a nice seat depends on luck lol...

Chocolate pie with nuts & chicken mushroom mashacre.
So scrumptious, the mashacre tastes delicious with the gravy and the for the pie, chocolate is always that yummy.
All I can say is OMGD!!

These are a few that I've been, hope there's more chance to have this kind of food hunting experience.
Stay tuned for #3

Jump Street @PJ

Jump Street is the first trampoline park in Malaysia, located at Petaling Jaya. Second trampoline park is now opened in Penang. It is almost like a playground but it suits both adults and children. This is one of the best place to be during a family or school outing.

Wefie before the jump at the wall of fame.
Some people signed and left some good comments here x

The entrance fee does not include the socks. Buying socks is necessary as the rubber underneath the socks provide a better grip that can prevent you from slipping. But if you're planning to jump again next time, you can bring along the socks and need not to buy another new one again.

Special socks for the jump, providing a better grip x

Behind us is the main court, where beginner jumpers start off x

Some little warm up before the exciting jump x

I was trying to do the significant pose of the banner but it was like... FAIL x

Before you are free to be in any other section, the instructors will give a briefing to each of the participators, teach you the correct way to jump, flip and stop to warm up a little and also some safety tips. You gotta be really careful when you're jumping. Jumping in the wrong way may cause you strain your ankle and that's gonna be really hurt.

It's really happy to jump on the trampoline, like you're flying high up in the air. But it's kinda tiring. I started to feel exhausting after a few minutes jump, just a few minutes is enough. Guys, it seems easy pissy lemon squeezy but yet, this is really not an ordinary trampoline jump, good exercise. It's FUN, at least you should try it out once.

Food Hunting #1

**Tada, hello. Actually I'm wondering how to start off my sentence. I'll be writing about food. So, should I say that life is about food and enjoyment or... here are some kinds of food that you should try it out. Okay, whatever it is, but words like yummy, scrumptious, delicious, yummylicious, palatable, great, tasty and toothsome are crossing all over my mind. It really makes me starve now.
Today, I'm going to blog about some light dessert, mainly yogurt and ice-cream. Of course, I'm also here to recommend nice eatery, bread cafe and steak house which I personally love it so much. Not many but all these places are found in KL. Get ready for the mouthwatering moment ya.

~~~~~
MOO COW
Frozen Yogurt
Moo Cow is one of the most famous frozen yogurt store in Malaysia other than Tutti Frutti. I tried this in Penang, other than flavoured yogurt, you're allow to choose your toppings. It's kinda appetising as it is not that sweet and tastes a bit sour. Sour-lover gotta love it. Compare to those normal yogurt selling in supermarkets, I prefer this type of frozen yogurt although it's a bit pricy.
My rating: 3.5/5
According to the research, frozen yogurt is naturally non-fat or low fat, you can eat as much as you can but the calories still add up. However in my opinion, I don't advise those who are on diet taking frozen yogurt as lunch because it normally contains quite a lot of sugars just to satisfy your sweet tooth. If you really want to loss your weight, bear in mind that exercise is always the best choice that leads to a healthy lifestyle.
MILKCOW
The Best Soft Serve Ice-cream
This is the first in Malaysia, at KL Midvalley. The queue is always that long from time to time. I've passed by the shop for a few times when I went to Midvalley, the number of people queuing is always so many. To me, it's worth to spend time queuing just to buy and try something new and special like this, some more it is the first in Malaysia. Worth a try! Maybe you can say that it's a trend too? Haha XD
I tried the one with red bean as it's the cheapest of all. Somehow, the ice-cream smells nice.
My rating: 3.5/5
TOURS les JOURS
Bread Café
Tours les Jours, selling the best bread and sandwich in town. There're too many choices in this bread shop hence I decided to pick the Chef's Choice: Smoked Turkey Ham & Cheese Roll. Honestly, I love it so much. You can consider this as a sandwich as it wraps with some vege and egg in it. That makes it looks like a healthy meal. The outer layer of the roll is kinda crispy, guess that they fried it, it's not like the normal sandwich that we found in town. The roll comes with a box and it is stored in the fridge. So, I'm sure that it's fresh. I got this for RM12. For those big eater, one is definitely not sufficient.
There's always a bike in front of every outlets. Always the nice place to do shooting x
This bread café is such a nice place to hang out with buddies and family, other than bread there are still some other food and beverages, not merely a bread shop, this is why I called it bread café.
My rating: 4/5
THAI THAI
Thai Eatery
Tom Yam seafood, kai lan & sour and spicy steamed fish with lime and chilli x
Had this before departing from KL central back to Ipoh. Both the fish and the tom yam really spiced us up. Let's first talk about the steamed fish. It tastes good with the chilli and the lime, making the dish not too common. We almost finished up all the gravy. Meanwhile, this fish is expensive, it costs us about RM50+  For the tom yam, it's appetising. That bowl of tom yam is for 2 persons but it is enough for four of us. Tom yam lover must give it a try! My advice, don't order both tom yam and the fish at the same time. This is because it will make your mouth full of the intense spiciness and disturb your tastebud, by that time you can hardly differentiate the taste, your tongue may also get numb.
My Rating: 4/5
NY STEAK & SHACK
Steaks, Burgers & Shakes
From the left on top: Fish and Chip
right on top: Chicken breast
bottom: Beef steak
Venue: Sunway Pyramid.
I think this is my very first time to be in a real steak house. My pick is beef steak. When it comes to steak, I'll just choose beef undoubtedly. There are a few choices of the sauce sorry that I don't remember what I chose but the name of the gravy is kinda special, haha please forgive my forgetfulness. This plate of steak is just yummy, delicious and yummilicious, with the mashed potato and the healthy broccoli... I want a second try~ And one more thing, the fries is not bad also.
My Rating: 4.5/5
